This Victorian era hinged bangle is constructed of 12k gold filled and was originally made for a child, but could also be worn on a petite wrist.  Adorning children and babies with fine jewels was particularly popular in the late 1800s, and can be seen in many photographs of this time period.  The bracelet  weighs 4.8 grams with the inner circumference measuring 4.75" and the width being 5mm. This piece is in great antique condition with light wear and is marked as shown.
