This highly detailed sterling round brooch was made in England in 1924 and features a reverse painted picture of a woman kneeling at a lily pond, set on top of a background of a blue morpho butterfly wing with iridescence; the painting is under a domed glass piece with a bead pattern border & sterling back.  

Measurements: weight 5.9g, 26mm wide

Condition: great antique condition with some dings to back and small areas of paint loss
