This Victorian era mourning locked brooch is constructed of a 10k gold frame and has a beveled glass covering over a locket cavity, which would have held a loved one's hair.  This pin has a woven piece of fabric to show how the hair would look.  I believe this pin had never actually been used as a mourning piece.  You could also use this pin to hold a photo or other memento.  This brooch weighs 3.9 grams and measures 31x25mm; it is in good antique condition with some surface wear and minor dings to the back.  There are no markings but it has been tested and is guaranteed.
