This Victorian era necklace features a large gold filled box style charm with an etched emerald green glass horseshoe framed by hand engraved foliate details; this pendant comes on a gold filled 16" cable chain. Originally this piece would have been an adornment on a watch or lorgnette chain, sliding over two strands of chain.  Because of the unique slide design this pendant can be worn with the horseshoe facing up or facing down. 

Measurements: total weight 4.7g, charm 18mm wide on the diagonal with 13mm sides & 8mm thick, chain 1mm wide & 16" long

Condition: great antique condition with some surface wear & darkening behind glass
