These Victorian era black stud earrings feature a button of soft matte Whitby jet, which is a very specialized type of fossilized driftwood, with a 10k gold post; these would have been worn by a lady mourning the death of a loved one. 

Measurements: weight 3 grams, width 11mm

Condition: excellent antique condition with very light wear; converted from screw backs

Markings: not marked but have been tested and are guaranteed; original screw backs were marked "WB 10k"
