This antique Georgian vinaigrette pendant was made In Birmingham, England in 1816 and features gorgeous, scalloped edges, hand engraved floral design on the back and monogrammed initials “JL” on the front. The inside panel features a lovely hand engraved leaf design. Vinaigrettes were used in the Victorian era; these pendants open as shown in photos and would hold a perfume-soaked sponge or piece of cotton. This pendant weighs 10 grams and measures 28x20mm. It is in excellent antique condition with light wear and the loop was added later. Item is fully hallmarked as shown. (IIX)
