This Victorian era mourning brooch is constructed of a frame of repousse chased 10k gold holding a beveled piece of glass which is protecting a loved one's woven hair.  This pin is lovingly inscribed on the back with the name of the loved one who passed, "Lydia Ober."  This locket brooch weighs 12.1 grams and measures 38mm wide.  The piece is in good antique condition with some surface wear; it has no markings but has been tested and is guaranteed.
