This stunning pair of Victorian era earrings was designed in the Etruscan Revival style and feature a large teardrop shaped garnet cabochon framed in 14k gold, which hangs below a buttery dome top with wirework details. These earrings are an example of mourning jewelry with locket backs that can hold a photo or memento, but you can also wear them without the back piece (the second photo shows them with the locket back in place). They weigh 16.9 grams and measure 36mm tall not including the hooks and are in excellent antique condition with very light wear.
