This Victorian brooch was hand carved of sleek black French jet and would have been worn during the Mourning period to signify remembrance of a loved one. This piece measures 72mm in length and 18mm wide. This piece is in acceptable antique condition with some wear. There is one missing bead on the top of the brooch and the pin catch is missing as shown in photos.
