This substantial Civil War era chain was originally used as a sword belt worn by the Knights of Templar; it features thick brass book chain style links with heavily embossed & ornate designs on long cylinders attached by thick, and equally decorated, jump rings, ending in a large clip one on end and large ring on the other.  Once an ornament of war, this historical piece now makes a chunky statement necklace that can hold multiple large fobs or charms.  This is a piece that will be talked about ;)
