Here is a lovely carved onyx locket pendant with 14k gold and sterling silver elements, featuring tiny seed pearls and a scroll pattern frame.  This locket was traditionally used as a memento mori, most likely including the hair of the person in remembrance.  The pendant measures 49mm tall not including the bail, which is gold filled and is not original to the piece.  This piece is in great antique condition with some surface wear; there are no markings on the metal aspects of the pendant, but all have been tested and guaranteed.
