Unusual antique late 1800s sterling silver brooch designed as a halbert (battle axe) with a Rococo swirl hand engraved handle, spade, or heart shaped, tipped finials, scrolling floral overlay, and rose cut emerald green paste stone accents; the halberd or axe form was popular in the Victorian era as part of the medieval/heraldic revival aesthetic.
