This intricate Victorian era pendant is made of 14k gold and features a shield motif with three dimensional belts & buckles as the frame, some black taille d'epargne enamel detailing at top, and a raised oval onyx cabochon center with inset flower made of inlaid gold, split pearls, and a rubies. This stunning piece can also be worn as a brooch and has two ways to hang on a chain. Originally the top frame section was hinged and could move; there are also remnants of other components now removed.

Measurements: weight 9.9g, 37x25mm w/o bail, 11mm deep

Condition: great antique condition with some wear, some loss to enamel, and evidence of older conversions; hinges have been soldered stationary

Markings: not marked but has been tested and is guaranteed *you can see that "XIV" has been engraved, which is a European mark for 14k
