Vintage Santo Domingo (Kewa) Pueblo necklace featuring a ribbed coral-orange spiny oyster shell pendant capped in hand-cut turquoise mosaic tiles with a checkerboard band of gold-lip mother of pearl and jet, suspended from double strands of matrix-veined turquoise nuggets with spiny oyster heishi at the bail and white clamshell heishi ends, finished in sterling cones, circa 1970s-1980s.
Measurements: length 19" long, shell 2.25" long, turquoise beads 6-8mm wide
Condition: excellent vintage condition with light wear
Markings: marked sterling on end caps, unsigned
