This antique chatelaine clip was made in the Netherlands in 1853 of .833 silver, featuring a woman holding flowers, framed by rococo swirls. This piece would have been attached to a belt and had multiple chains dangling from it, each with a useful household appendage such as scissors, thimbles, watches, keys, smelling salts, and household seals.  Today this could be used as a unique pendant or charm holder, or even a money clip.
